Nothing held back
The complete list straight from Mojang's own manifest. Nothing curated, nothing missing because nobody bothered adding it.
Update 1.0.0 — version picker rebuilt
Most launchers give you five versions and call it a choice. This one pulls the full list from Mojang — every release, every snapshot, all the way back to Alpha.
Windows 10 & 11, 64-bit · about a minute to install
Pick a version from the list inside the launcher and it starts. The list refreshes from Mojang on its own, so new snapshots show up without you downloading anything again.

This is an unofficial project and Mojang doesn't support it. When you sign in you land on Microsoft's own login page, so your password goes to Microsoft and never reaches us.
That sounds like a small thing. It's the only feature that matters if you play more than one version.

Type a version number and it filters as you type. Or narrow it to just snapshots, Beta or Alpha when that's what you're after.
Plenty of launchers send the wrong version type and snapshots just fail. This one passes the type through the way Mojang expects.
Every release ships a SHA-256 hash. Drop your copy in the box above and it gets compared, right in the browser, no upload involved.
What changed in recent builds.
Replaced the five hardcoded versions with the live Mojang manifest. All 917 versions now show up, grouped by type, with search.
Snapshots were launching as releases and Minecraft refused to start. The version type is now passed through correctly.
Switched to Microsoft's own login flow through msmc, so no
password ever touches this launcher.
Completely normal on the first run. The installer isn't signed with a paid certificate, so Windows sees a publisher it doesn't recognise. Check the SHA-256 hash first, then click More info → Run anyway.
No. This is Java Edition on Windows only. Bedrock needs a completely different launcher.
Go ahead. There's no account to create and nothing gets sent to a server. The only thing that reaches Microsoft is the Microsoft sign-in.
Newer Minecraft versions want Java 21. The launcher normally uses whatever Java came with the version you're launching. If you hit an error anyway, install Eclipse Temurin 21.
Open the version picker and hit Refresh. That pulls the newest list from Mojang straight away.
Signing in goes to Microsoft's real login page, so your password goes to Microsoft and nowhere else. It's still an unofficial launcher that nobody at Mojang vouches for though. If that bothers you, try a spare account first.
No account, no subscription, no ads. Grab the installer and pick whichever version you feel like today.
